Butterflies are amazing to watch. We have a butterly garden in our backyard- a vision of Joan's that has come to fruition this summer. Lofty plants simply attract both plain and majestic butterflies.
While at a park, I witnessed and captured the monarch flying and landing on an attracting plant. The butterfly just went between several of the purple blossoms- comfortable, not in a rush. There was no wind, no disturbance. It was a simple demonstration of beauty.
The park is part of a memorial to an special person who I never knew- however in just a hand full of plants, one bench and a butterfly, the intention of memorializing this person was well served.
